Got the phone call from mother last night.  A slightly more standard acquisition, this time from the Nanaimo SPCA.

Last week my parents had to put Lucy, their lab/golden retriever down due to bladder cancer.  Poor Lucy.  This week my father disappeared on Wednesday for a couple of hours and came back with what I'm pretty certain is this dog, who was quickly renamed Fergus.  He does look like more of a Fergus than a Sensea.  My mother says he looks like a horse and has feet the size of dinner plates.

I guess I'll meet the new addition the next time I head Islandside.

Looks like more of a shepard than a great dane.  Hope your parents can handle him.
