We're back.

Woo-frickin'-hoo. I hate moving between countries. Sigh. Poor baby, eh?

Haven't found employment yet but apparently that's just a matter of time ... just got the home Internet last night so apologies for the long posting delay. Things are going ok - as lovely as can be expected for cross-border moving. Lots o' fiddly little things to do but man, it's good to be back in Canada.

And I'm gonna keep thinking that right up until the time I try to order something from Amazon or EBay ;-)

You are sooo close to the outlet stores.  There is a really great Gap outlet that sells lots of kids clothes.  I get my sister to drive me "down south" to go shopping when I visit.

BTW, my Calgary brother-in-law is a heach honcho in IT.  If you give me your resume, I can pass it on.  If he's not hiring, he might know someone who is.

... Have a close acquaintance get you an interview at a new company.  That always works out well, right?  (just kidding, but someone had to say it).

Just keep in mind that you won't be paying any provincial taxes on anything, even on things you bring in from the US from eBay or Amazon.

(oh, and there is an amazon.ca, btw).
