So my parents just got back from visiting my brother in Prince George, and in true Baldry fashion they left Prince George with just the two of them and the two dogs and arrived home with them, the two dogs and a cat.

| Lilloet Lilly is about six months old (they think) and was a stray that got dumped at the campground they stayed at in Lilloet. She managed to survive the summer on tourist handouts but now that it is October the tourists are thin on the ground. So my parents saw, my parents fed, my parents ad libbed a litter box and left a note on the campground operators' door saying they had taken care of the stray cat problem.
Apparently she got used to the dogs pretty quickly but was most disappointed to discover she was cat #5 rather than #1 cat. The other four cats were also less than thrilled to see that the parents had brought home a new baby sister. Could be interesting times in the elder Baldry household. Cats are rarely subtle in expressing their displeasure, and have devious minds.
I really can't let those parents go anywhere without them finding a cat. They should just be declared an offical branch of the SPCA. |
