Okay all you tech geeks!  G and I are looking into moving up from the white washed (over contrasted) 17" montior we've got, and in the interest of clearing up some desk space to provide more room for miscellaneous piles of paper, we're thinking LCD.  We don't play many high fps games, so something on the 25ms refresh should suffice.  Any recommendations for a sub-$1000CAD 19"?

It's something I've been considering for a while. When you have to work full time and raise a kid, 'down-time' becomes precious. I had a couple of friends who tried it in NYC in the late '90s and they liked it. But as this article says, the hardest part is to get over the customer's insistence of picking their own produce.
