...Apparently you need to stay to the end of the credits to see a snippet that helps either make sense of some things or helps set up the possibility of an X4.  Allison wouldn't say anything else because she thought anything more would be a spoiler.

Truly, these must be the last days:  James Bond will drive a Ford in his next movie.  Product placement has a lot to answer for, but this is the limit.  The Sun, in England, says Ford has paid something like $25 million US to get Bond into a Mondeo for  some chase scenes, and also a romantic one.  It could be worse, if Ford had wanted to pay more 007 might be driving an Escort

Open question to all the geeks out there:  One of our undergrads has a class assignment to find a movie that depicts molecular biology (might be able to stretch it to biochemistry too) in some way and then critique how well the movie depicts the science.  Is it plausible?  Why or why not?

They've finally announced the Two Towers DVD's. Following the same format as the LOTR DVD, there will be two releases, each packed with plenty of hobbity goodness (but no lembas bread).

Best of all: the second release in November will have an additional 40 minutes of footage.
