Came home last night after going to the gym and my entire block was roped off with that nice bright yellow tape that says "Police line Do Not Cross".

When I last saw Spike he was going out in the proverbial "blaze of glory" on the last episode of BtVS. And yet while I was channel surfing last night there he was on "Angel". It has to be a new episode, they are based out of Wolfram and Hart. So how did he reappear? What sort of explanation did they give, or did they bother? And now he has a crush on Fred? Anyone out there following "Angel"?

Shamelessly ripped from Salon so ya don't have to sit through the whole ad thing. I don't agree with a lot of it but he certainly does have a few good points about the change in the story arcs ....

Finally, we know that Angel has been renewed for fifth season and possible a sixth. Not that this is earth-shattering news but we have to gather what comforts we can in the post-Buffy world :)

Joss Whedon, creator of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angela and Firefly TV shows, answered 100 questions recently. There are some interesting answers - yup, it is the last season for BtVS, but not for Angel - however, for the most part, the questions are pretty dumb.

....that was the Friendly Giant theme that the big Bad was humming/whistling on BtVS last night, wasn't it? Is Josh baiting the Canadian fans or just a coincidence?

Ah, Buffy - love it or leave it, ya just can't really ignore it. And now, in Merry Olde England, you can hear lectures about it.

So...what happened in the first few minutes of last nights' BtVS? I missed everything before the credits. And I think I preferred the evil Spike to the insane one. Insane is kind of boring (and doesn't look as good in a blue tshirt ;-))

CSIS Uses Buffy as a Metaphor

Canada's 'Secret Service', CSIS, has released a document that compares responses to terrorism, especially Biological warfare, to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. An interesting read but what *I* want to know is which government agency is Willow? And which Willow, at that!
Update [2002-7-20 20:31:20 by Xander]:One of the other editors, Spike, has pointed out an error. D'oh!! CSIS is an American think tank. Oh well, that's what you get for skimming and posting :)
