So I put in Bill Bryson (comical travel author), Larry Niven (remember I like SCIENCE fiction, not science FICTION) and Samuel Abt (written several books about the Tour de France and cycling in general).  The name that pops out....

Robert Heinlein

like who the heck is that...never heard of him. (Yes, I'm kidding).  That said though, I'm not a HUGE fan of his stuff, even though I technically own half of it (by marriage of course).  Sometimes I feel like I own half of the library of congress.
